[IMG] Do you honestly think that not having the potential to be league average starters equates with them being absolutely worthless?

I do not think that. I am just trying to figure out what you are saying about these guys. I think we might agree on this if your position is that we should keep them and let them play unless we somehow get an opportunity for an upgrade.

Of course they should be kept, but the point is that none of those guys should be viewed as long-term starters. The Bobcats should sign anyone they feel is the right balance between cost and talent, regardless of the position.

I do not think they should be viewed as long term starters but I am not willing to write them off by saying there is no chance they will ever be long term starter quality.

With that being said if we had a chance to sign a top notch point guard or shooting guard for a deal that made sense for us I would do so.

Forget top notch. Anyone who is above average should be signed if the price is right. And it doesn't matter whether or not you are willing to "write them off." It frustrates me that you have this persistent naïveté where you think players can magically become a lot better than they are. You do the same thing in the Panthers forum, and it drives knowledgeable people bananas because it's so unrealistic and pointless.
