Prednisone

It sure didn't make me hungry, in fact, it had the opposite effect, I lost weight because I was never hungry. Made it hard to sleep though.

 

I took a one week cycle of that stuff about 6 months ago. Send me a little crazy on the third day. Had a panic attack and felt like I wasn't myself.

I did some research on the stuff and found there are some really serious side effects for long term use. I'll never take the stuff again if possible.

My issue was constant pain (dull ache) in my left knee that radiated up to my thigh which I took to be Arthritis. The meds did help some but taking 1-2 Motrin worked better. I started taking Glucosomine pills and that helped a ton. Fixed the problem 90%.

This week it's started to flare up again. Don't know why.

 

Another round of this stuff for the planters fasiciatis (sp) in left foot and heel spur I have. Oh and the 2 cortisone shots in the tender meat on the bottom of the foot were just great
