Since we draft first, what are the chances Hurney trades back into the first later on? I gotta get up at 5 so past 10 is going to be tough for me

    Slim to none.

The first pick comes with a massive tag now, since the lockout was lifted, and negotiations will possibly take years.

Also, who's the consensus number 1? Can you think of any? Who the fuck is anyone going to draft up to take? The magic numbers appear to be 2 and 6.

true. 2-6 all stand at least some chance of trading down. Denver has made multiple statements that they would like to trade down and recently the Pats have talked to Cleveland about moving up to #6. Previously Cle stated that they would stay put, but don't the fucking pats always get their way .. . so there may well be some movement in that range

Cleveland also said they're game for trades. They really do have a magic number. Right outside the top 5, and you got 6 or 7 really special players.

Denver too, with all this shopping that they're gonna take Von Miller now, will more than likely trade down, and we'll be treated to Foxy smiling with Elway, both wearing orange ties, both flipping off Hurney and cashing in. They might force Buffalo to trade a spot with em. I wouldn't doubt it. Goddamn, I wouldn't doubt it. I'm being half sarcastic, half serious here...I just know that tonight is going to blow my mind, and not the good kind.

I'm pretty old and I can't think of situation when it's been worse to have the 1st overall. Black cat.

Best to not let it get you too riled up though, nothing we can do.

Not riled up at all. I save that shit for gameday. I mean...I think we're going to have an average draft. I think our last FEW drafts have been bad. I'm worried we're going to get set back 5 years, not because of a QB we choose, but because we've been drafting out of desperation for Hurney's and Foxy's jobs lately, and they haven't gone well.

It's going to be what it's going to be, and that was an homage to Fox. I'm not worried. Excited, rather.

I'll resume yelling when we play the games again.
