I stumbled on this site the other night and have debated if this was politics or religion . . anyway I picked this one

    Good or bad? http://stopbaptistpredators.org/index.htm

    What struck me in this

Now yes - you can be forgiven for your sins is one of the basic tenets (he still should burn in hell IMO) - But would you really want to allowed a convicted child sex offender to preach ?

I would answer yes, if not for this quote:

If he was repentant and had confessed, then no -- I wouldn't have a problem allowing him to preach. That being said, there's no way I would put him in a position to be around women of any age by himself. If temptation is a problem, it needs to be minimized to the greatest extent possible, and he would need to be subject to the greatest accountability available.

Pedophiles can't change. It would be like a heterosexual trying to become a homosexual, or vice versa. Why isn't it up to us to judge him? I don't want a pedophile near my children. I don't feel bad about that at all.

Forgiving someone and allowing them to work with children again are two very different things.

Yeah, just because you forgive someone doesn't mean you have to trust them.
