then tell 49erpi that I am looking for a game. He would probably be able to give me a little something him being a lot younger and all.

putt, I can break 100 about everytime out. usually bout 95.

If everybody played by the rules then you could probably beat 95% of most golfers.;)

Putt, where do you play? If you want shots you're gonna have to see a doctor. We play 'em back, play 'em down and putt 'em out. Any other way and you aint playing golf.

You are right about most golfers. If Metro can shoot 90 playing by the rules of golf, he is better than 95% of all recreational players.

I'm a senior so you probably wouldn't feel right to not spot me a box or a 1/2 on the 5's or something.
I've played about all of them one time or the other except the Charlotte Country Club. Ain't got no favorites except maybe Charlotte Nationals greens. I like the layout over at HighlandCreek it is compact and if you keep the ball in the short stuff then you can post a good one and walk away feeling good about yourself. Not much on those courses built on construction or garbage dumps --Renasaince--Tradition--Charlotte Golf Links unless it's a drinking round. But, I play about any and will play about as serious as who ever I am playing with and the reason I am playing for.;)

It feels funny not having LEfty here to complain about us bashing O'Chucks, the greatest restaurant in the world. A very connected :quiet: Niner fan told me that if Don (Picasso owner) told Judy to make it the "official" joint this season, it would happen. I hope he does.

JOINTS before the game & then more JOINTS after the game!?!?! Damn!!! Brings back old memories!

Puttingood, I agree with you about Highland Creek. It's a fun course. What do you think about Skybrook & Verdict Ridge?

I played Verdict when Eddie first opened it up and but now they right proud of the place (money-wise). I think last time it was near 70 bucks to play and SkyBrook was wet both times I played it so I have never had a chance to really cut loose on it.
Ftrethorne is in the 60s -I like it and that course down in Shelby that the ex Panther football player owns is extremely nice -- Deerbrook.
If they 40 dollar courses then I can handle a little bad grass here and there but when local public courses hit that 70 dollar mark then they better be tip top.

They should bulldoze Verdict Ridge and start over. That course is a windmill and a clown away from being gooney golf.

Putt I agree with you on Renasainse, I wouldnt play there with a gun to my head.

Skybrook is a good layout and their greens are usually good. Thinking about joining there this fall.

Tradition is a great layout but is a little rough around the edges. Very good greens this year, though.

I dont understand the love affair some people have with Highland creek. It is decent but there are 2 or 3 stupid holes out there that really keep it from being a championship layout. I doubt you will ever see a CGA championship there.

I like Spanky's but Top O' The Hill was a little too classy for me.
