[IMG] Did you not watch the playoffs at all? Bosh missed games with an injury, Wade played pretty poorly by his standards because he had a knee injury that needs surgery, and LeBron carried Miami to and through the Finals. He put the team on his back, dude. And yes, they are his team. Good lord.

lebron is the best player on that team. wade and bosh have their moments, but lebron is the man. i think he was planning on miami being a glorified all-star team, but then when it didn't work, he just took over.

the way he played this year and in the playoffs, i think he'd have a ring even if he stayed in cleveland.

anyway, the thing about basketball players is they want to be the man, but they also want to win. guys who don't get pt on a winning team that get a ton of pt for a losing team probably would rather return to their former team.

i suppose somebody might think so highly of their abilities that they'd expect to turn a loser into a winner, but that doesn't happen so often.

If this team does not add anyone else of consequence how many games you think it wins? 20 or so?

Yeah, probably 20. Every other team had at least 20 despite the shortened season.

it's really hard to lose as many as charlotte lost last year. even the same team playing again would probably win 15-20 with a change of attitude.

    20ish is a reasonable guess.

It is going to be another year of hard to watch games and hoping to win the lottery and make it count.

If Dwight Howard is traded to the Nets then Brook Lopez is probably out. I wonder if we would have a shot at acquiring him? I know he had a serious injury but he is a legit big man and those are hard to find.

If Howard is traded to the Nets then Lopez will have to be in the deal.

Not only would the Magic presumably want Lopez, but it's the only way to make the salaries work. Jesus, Dwight was such a moron for caving and giving up his opt-out.
