I picked up a nice whole pork tenderloin last night and want to bake it.

Anyone got any good, simple, non-extravagant recipes?

If you just seasoned it and wrapped in tinfoil and threw it in the oven, would it stick to the foil; if so, would a container of water prevent sticking? [I've seen some good buys on pork, lately.] Would a slow-cooker be better; what setting?

    Thanks. :)

heavy foil would probably be okay, just make sure it's sealed real tight so the meat won't dry out.

slow cooker is a good way to go too. throw some veggies in there with the pork. the setting depends on how quickly you want it cooked. i usually put whatever on in the morning before i leave the house and by the time i get home, dinner's cooked, but that's anywhere from 10-12 hours. i set it on 'low'.

tried this receipe and it is seriously tasty. doesnt look that great when you marinate it but damn its good. use the glass bottle of lime juice that you find on the grocery aisle or else you will need about 20 fresh limes. also let it sit overnight and that pork will be tenderoni!

1 1/2 cups fresh lime juice
    3/4 cup olive oil
    6 cloves garlic, sliced
    2 teaspoons salt
    6 tablespoons dried oregano
    2 (1 pound) pork tenderloins

Place lime juice, olive oil, garlic, salt, and oregano in a large resealable plastic bag. Shake sealed bag until ingredients are well mixed. Taste the marinade for tartness. If too tart, add a little more oil. Not enough zing, add more lime. The garlic and salt flavors should also be up front, yet not overpowering. Place tenderloins in the bag, seal, and turn to coat. Marinate in the refrigerator for 2 to 5 hours.
    Preheat grill for medium heat.
Lightly oil the grill grate, and discard marinade. Grill tenderloins for 20 to 30 minutes, turning once, or to desired doneness.
