    it's got to be the real thing. popped in oil on the stove and lots of salt.

    I can hardly eat microwave popcorn any more :pop:

    we have an old-time hot air popper thing...works great. every kernal gets popped and no chance of burning it. melt butter in the microwave and douse with salt. :sponge:

    I wasn't so keen on the airpoppers back when we all had them. Thought the popcorn wasn't good. But then I like mico. Haven't done the pan thing in years. Wonder if we just "get used" to the new stuff. Did do some "Jiffy pop" while camping this summer.
