    I thought that Wake team was 24th or somewhere around there. I could be wrong.

    I think Duke went wire to wire #1 in 92 so I doubt they lost late to an unranked team unless they were way ahead of everyone else.

    They did go wire to wire. The first time we lost to UNC, there were 2 other unranked teams that lost that weekend, UCLA and Oklahoma State. We stayed number one. When we lost to Wake, one of them had a few more losses, and the other one lost that weekend as well. As far as Wake being ranked, that part I'm not sure about. They did have Childress and were a solid team.
