    Harris Teeter has whole pork loins on sale. We bought one, anyone have a good recipe. Lots of herbs

    Make a thick paste with olive oil, garlic, ancho chile powder, salt, pepper and rosemary. Coat and let sit for a bit and then sear it good before finishing it off over indirect heat.

    sounds good boys...my favorite way is to paint that thing real good with some Carolina Treet and hide it in the smoker for a few hours.

    Slice part of it into nice lean pork chops.
    Take the rest and put it in the crock pot.
    Add onion and galic and cook slowly until it falls apart.
    AFter shredding it add Green chilis and green salsa..
    UMMM chili VERDE. Put in burritos or pour on top of tamales.

    you got my vote....I got one in the crocker right now. Im going to get drunk and the pool then come back and grub out.

    don't have green salsa...I got red, rotel and green peppers...I added Old Bay seasoning....that may have been a mistake....I also got an alvacato for the green snot sauce.
