This is a petition to the NFL regarding the officiating crews and the lousy job they are doing. I don't know if any of you are familiar with Ref Terry Mcauley and his crew, but they are the absolute worse! This petition may not do any good, but then again, who knows.

Sorry, Muff. I've only seen one game this year from beginning to end, so I can't join a movement to replace all the officials for bad playcalling. I simply haven't witnessed it because I haven't seen any football this year to speak of.

However, if someone wants to start a petition to have full time officials employed year-round by the NFL with constant evaluations and intellectual and physical training requirements, I'd be all over that.

 

That's what the petition is about.

 

I'd just like games called consistently. It seems every crew calls holding, pass interfenerce, PFs, and QB hits differently. some swallow the whistle and let them play, others feel it is there job to call every minute thing...which makes the games last forever.

 

I signed because I think they need constant evaluation on everything. Always room for improvement.

But the punishment should fit the crime. Players get fined for shirt tails hanging out, so there's room for reprimand.

I'm not saying there should be fines, but a point system on bad calls certainly would help see a pattern with some refs.
