Please FNZ! I beg you

During the 1st 10 years or so, they were on the radio . . . . I guess the cost to air the games on the radio got too much for the Checkers and most other minor legaue hockey teams, which is why they are only on the internet now. I would think having original programming late at night would be better than generic network programming (ESPN/FOX/SPORTNING NEWS RADIO)

 

NBC has Hockey????

well I stand corrected......but it's still a lame sport that a very small, niche audience cares about....

whatever...i'm just a hater....probably b/c I actually listen to FNZ regularly and if they ever started carrying hockey and/or covering it on a regular basis, i'd destroy my radio

 

I think every South Carolina Stingrays game is broadcast on the radio in Charleston.

 

They only major school they have around there is USC...

Charlotte has UNC, Davidson, NC State, Duke, Wake...even USC is closer to Charlotte than Charleston. Plus the Bobcats and Panthers.

There's just no sports in Charleston to broadcast.

 

There are a billion Yankees up that way who don't give fuck about those schools. Plus, nobody gives a fuck about the Bobcats.
