We're ONE GAME OUT. That means we need to win ONE MORE GAME than 7 bad teams, and 2 more games than 2 bad teams, one of whom we play (Rams). And if we beat the Rams and have a tie record, we get in on tiebreaker.

How can you not think playoffs at one game out with 5 weeks to go?

I'm following the playoffs, of course. But just as at 1-7, I want to take them one at a time. I hope the team has less of an eye on the playoffs than we do, be a damn shame to piss it away on a shitty team like the Saints.

And piss it away on a team like the aints is, unfortunately, pantheresque.

I still think it is a long shot. We always struggle with Atlanta and they are good this year. We are going to have to go on the road against the Bucs and Saints too.

I was pretty down on this team earlier this year not so much because they were losing but because they were not playing like they cared if they won or lost. IMHO the effort they put forth early on was not that good. Something happened at half time of that San Fran game. I am not sure what it was but it got us back to playing with some passion. I just wish it had happened a game or two earlier.

Even if we do not make the playoffs if we finish 7-9 or so after starting 1-7 that is an accomplishment by itself. Hopefully it will carry over to next year.

I hope thay are paying attention to the playoff race somewhat, and realize they got a chance, and play their asses off with some motivation.

Hopefully, a win at NO, and then a win against the rams will elevate them to at least to a respectable performance against vicklanta.

IF, and that's a big if, we can win the next three- and the bucs and aints will nothing to play for the last two games, and hopefully because of those three wins we will be on a serious roll and then, hopefully not piss it all away on the likes of the bucs and the aints.

Ever game is gonna be dang exciting without a doubt, unless and/or until we piss one away.

We've beaten two of the teams at 4-7. That helps.
We'll have beaten another, NO, and STL (currently 5-6) for any of this to matter. I honestly think we're in the driver's seat - we control our own destiny. Win out, and we're in. And playing one of the teams we've already lost to.

Can't ask for anything better after such a shitty first half of a season, with only 5 games left, huh?

Kinda makes ALL the nfc games Very important and somewhat exciting at least for thext few weeks.

Yep. It's whack. It also makes every game, as long as we win, a playoff game.
