    Central - Minnesota
    West - Oakland
    Wild Card - New York

Boston fans talk smack for about a week about beating out New York for the penant, but shut up when their team is sent home and the Yanks return to the World Series.

    NL:
    East - Atlanta
    Central - St. Louis
    West - San. Fran
    Wild Card - Arizona

Atlanta goes to the series for the NL. Unfortunately another Atlanta Braves/New York Yankees World Series. Don't get me wrong I love the Braves, but it'd be nice to see them play someone OTHER than the Yanks. These two perenial teams actually hurt baseball because fans get tired of seeing the "same old teams".

Atlanta wins the series this year. The reason: In the past they've gone carried ONLY by their pitching. This year they also come with an offense. I'm not saying its a sweep, but they actually have the missing element from past years.

Oakland will be tough for any team to beat with their big 3 (maybe 4 now) pitching for them.

And I wouldn't feel to comfortable as a Braves fan with the pitching probables for the postseason. Ortiz will be fine but can you expect Maddux, Hampton or Ramirez to pitch well enough to get you a win?
