Playing for fourth place

Something just dawned on me...

Is there a more overated football program in america than Alabama? They have done shit for a long, long time now and they get caught cheating every couple of months. Not to mention the Mike Price fiasco.

and, what great big 10 matchups? ohio state will bore you to tears and they are who abc usually puts in the 3:30 lately (espn takes everyone else for nooners). michigan gets to go at 3:30, too.

big 12 matchups? texas clobbering someone? k-state clobbering someone? oklahoma clobbering someone?

let's face it -- until we get rid of two-thirds of division 1-A, we're being denied a really awesome college football fall tv schedule.

 

This really hurts me coming such a knowledgeable person like you. I would make fun of your school but since it's obvious you have never sniffed the inside of a college classroom, I wont bother.

 

The last two years? No. FSU has not been a blowout machine. Although I have had to suffer through all of both the Colorado and Wake games.

I'm pretty sure I would've taken Tulsa over SMU compared to those two thrillers.

But if I expand the timeline to the 10 years since I've been in Maryland, then the number of FSU blowouts I've seen rises dramatically - simply because I'm stuck in an ACC market.

And the Big 12/Big 10 games? It's more like this:

I never see Texas-Oklahoma. Never get Nebraska-Texas midseason. Oklahoma State beating Oklahoma the last two years? Never would have known by what we get here. K State never makes it to ABC unless it's against a good Big 12 team - never see those games either.

And OSU's offense may bore me to tears, but a boring 10-7 game that both teams have a chance to win is STILL better than a blowout. Why in the hell ABC never switches these games is beyond me.

So yeah, I'm fucking tired of watching ACC games - most of which involve FSU. We used to check the TV schedule every week in hopes of finding FSU on ESPN instead of the 3:30 ABC game. Cause if FSU is on ABC, I'm gonna see it.

Of course, all of this is bullshit designed to make me go out and plunk down the $$$ for Game Plan. I just don't have to like it. And I haven't plunked down the $$ yet either.

Yes, UNC does suck in football but at least we aren't cheating like Bama.
