    They have been playing for second for years. Shouldnt take much to adjust to playing for 4th.

    True, just think of the ill feelings on that fifth bowl spot when the two teams eligible haven't played each other that season are tied and the bowl committee can make the selection.

    The ACC will probably get a bowl from the Big East as well.

    I'm not sure what makes people think VT will automatically finish Top 3 every year.

    Yeah I do. Usually I have to suffer through that fucking 3:30 bomb involving FSU blowing someone out while the rest of the country gets a good Big 12 or Big 10 matchup. Fucking regional ABC games.

    We are not going to kill the Marylands, UVAs, Ga Techs and States of the world year in - year out. You can go ahead and mark that down. We haven't even finished second or third in the Big East lately. And we get plenty of off days in that conference. I liked us a LOT better when we were Top 25, but not overrated to the point where we read our own clippings and then get embarrassed.

    You know, the good ole days dammit.

    As long as Va Tech is playing someone not ranked they are stellar. I heard Beamers record against top 20 teams is horrible.
