    Remember him a little from the Dodgers, decent hitter with good power. I think was mostly Outfielder and played a little infield 1B I think.

    Not a player I kept up with much, so don't know much about him as the type of leader he was, or what he has done outside of baseball.

    He was a switch hitting power hitter on those Dodger teams that consisted of Lopes, Garvey, Cey, Russell, Baker and Yeager.

    Believe it or not he was a leader on that team.

    Also played for the Redsox and Giants (I think). Got into it with a fan in San Fran while playing for the Dodgers. Son was a Dodgers ball boy who could throw equally well left and right handed.

    Did you get to play with/against Dave Winfield? If so, what do you know about him?

    Faced him in the spring once.
    From what I heard of him he was a super athlete and a super person. (check out the Dave Winfield foundation)

    They talk about 2 sport stars now like it's really special, Dave was a legitimate 3 sport star.

    He was one of my favorite players growing up. I really do remember him being a class act. I will check out some of the info on him now.
