I want to see how many of you follow baseball well.
I will list some players that I have played with or against, periodically and I want you to tell me some history on him.

Gant played for the Atlanta Braves in the late 1980's and early half of the 1990's. He was a big part of the 1991 and 1992 teams which came close to winning the World Series. I especially remember the 91 WS when Minnesota Twin's 1st basemen, Kent Hrbeck pulled Gant off first base and tagged him out. Gant was steaming over that, and so was I.

Gant was a short (6 foot tall or less) right-handed power swinging outfielder. Even though Gant was short, he was built like a brickhouse. (I wonder if Jose Canseco knows any dirt on him?) I can't remember the exact year, but in the mid 90's Gant was in a career threatening motorcycle accident. His days with Atlanta were over after that accident. In the late 90's, Gant came back to the sport and played with some different teams (Cincinnati, St. Louis, Oakland)

Good job Big Dan! Did you know Gant started out as a 2nd baseman?
He loved the weight room and yes he was built like a brickhouse.

Wow, talk about obscure players. Didn't he play just a season or two for the Braves?

How 'bout guys like Jeff Hamilton, Greg Brock, Ken Howell, Mike Marshall...

Jeff Hamilton I did not play with.
Greg Brock was in the same draft as I was and we played together in rookie ball.
Ken Howell was my roommate for 2 years. (Attended Tuskeegee University)
Mike "Herman Munster" Marshall, I played with a couple years.
    Anyone else?

Wow, I guessed your time with the Dukes about right then. Hmmm, Mickey Hatcher, Steve Howe, Bob Welch, Steve Sax, Fernando, Dave Stewart?
