pirate satellite cards

anyone want to give me some advice here? I am about to try one of these pirate cards out on my directv. how much should I pay, and how long should it last?

A coworker of mine got busted buying card burning equipment from some site on the web. he was "cleaning the cards"? Such that it thought you had credits from Direct TV? Anyway it seems that Direct TV leaned on these guys to give up names of people that bought the equipment/software to do this. He got hit with a 3000 bill from Direct TV on non payed viewals.

Putt, you tha man, but I hate to tell ya, I dont know a THING about this. All I know is that a guy I work with pays some other dude $20 for a card that usually lasts him about 6 weeks, sometimes mroe , some times less. Like you like to say about life, it dont come with no guarantees.
