FYI - Heinrich has been long snapping. He was on the TV show this weekend doing it.

Bright is light, no doubt. However, he never got hurt in arena league. I'd imagine that they don't hit as hard, but it's hard turf every game.

    And yeah, what about Howard?

I'm betting on Goings or Brown over Montgomery.

    Oh boy.

Over Harper? Sure. A bit more active, but I've seen less of him in coverage. Both saw a lot of time against Buffalo, though.

I thought "gunners" are the term for the outside guys in either punt return or coverage team?

I knew Heinrich was long snapping, but had not heard if he had any trouble. If he can nail that down, it would open up a spot for someone else. Maybe if we wanted to keep an extra back, or an extra corner or linebacker. I remember our depth at linebacker went to hell real quick last year.

they usually have more than one guy working at long snapping in camps. Walls used to be listed as one, but they had a guy in last year. I'm glad they're exercising their options but I don't see Kyle going.

That's a great list Piper. As you know, the only real problem I would have with it is that Foster should be ahead of Smith. I know he just got to practice and all, but he should go into Training Camp as the starter. IMO Fox should just go by your list and cut everybody now. Then he can give better attention to the 53 that matter!

I would pretty much agree, but I would only carry three RB's w/ Smith, Foster & Brown...I suppose Bates could be listed as a fourth, but Hoover would play there b-4 Bates.
I would say we'll keep 4 TE's with the probable use of an H-back (Mangum & Hoover as H-backs).
Hankton needs to go, guys been riding pine for too long and never moved up the depth chart.

Well, I just did a quick glance, just gonna touch on my favorite positions...

QB - Wienke will either get injured or benched by game 5, maybe 6. Fasani would have been a lay down at Heisman had he played on Wienke's team. (Edit - so would have at least 15 other college QBs) All the knocks on him can be attributed to the fact that he did not play on a team fielding some of the best offensive players in the country (in college).

WR - A healthy Jeffers is better than a healthy Moose - nuff said.

Ok, I can't tell when your serious or trolling. Please comeback and explain that you really don't believe anything you just said here, except for QB & WR being your favorite positions.
