    equal parts vanilla vodka and pineapple juice. Add a splash of grenadine. Mix in a shot glass. A good shot in hot weather. Damn good in the winter also.

    try it, I think you will like it. The vanilla vodka is not strong. You can add a little more or less if you like.

    :agreed: You'd better add Frangelico(or some sort of Hazelnut Liquor), or that is going to taste nothing like a Pineapple Upside Down Cake.

    Put a spoon upsidedown over the top of the glass and pour the grenadine over that.

    Mix 1/2 brown sugar with 1/2 stick butter melted in large iron skillet...place sliced pineapple rings on top, with a marachino cherry in the middle of each, pour a yellow cake mix batter on top..bake as directed...comes out easily..just let it cool 10 min..and turn onto a cake plate.......it's the real deal.
