We can now have a non rah-rah discussion about these guys.

Uncctf said he was in first session summer class with Pigford, said his 230lb. listing was pushing it. Best case scenario, I was behind Cam Stephens in the line for Burger King last year, and he didn't look intimidating to me at all. I think he was listed at something like 220-230, and it didn't show at 6'7". Maybe Pigford will have the "inner beast", and Cam's 12 footer.

Spooner, I hope he is the ultimate team player. 11 points and 7 boards in juco ain't that impressive. If he can set a Jermaine williams or cam screen, i'll be happy. So will Demon, Plav, and Sager.

Bennnett, I don't care. We'll always be stocked at guard. Grier can play the two in a couple of years, his defense up there would be very disruptive.

spooner's numbers were very unimpressive, but the thing that intrigues me about him is who wanted him. I think Kansas State and Cincy were both offering. If Huggs wanted him, he must be pretty good. He may of had to share his position, I dont know. He has got to be an upgrade over Tory.

Pigford could help, but all he needs to do is be good enough to give Withers a breather, right?

from what i have heard, Pigford is a very good shooter and is mainly an offensive player. i also read somewhere that spooner shared his position in juco, so maybe he will turn out to be pretty good.

If Pigford or Spooner at the 4 are better than Badsen at the three, I would love to see Withers shooting over 6'5" skinny small forwards.

Pigford is pretty tall, but needs to hit the weight room about 73 times a day if he plans on playing power forward in D-1. He just has that wing player build.

m9h, I never think any of these guys are any good untill I see them play.

Vincent and Eddie have the 3 position covered.

Withers should get 30 minutes at the 4.

Iti didn't come here to ride the bench and Calvin will need minutes, so I suppose they will handle center.

That doesn't leave many front line floor minutes for Pig and Spoon.

Pig and Spoon. That sounded funny.
