Pigford a dunker?

    i have heard that CJ Pigford can throw down some nasty dunks. i have never seen him play, but if this is true, it could add some more excitement to what should be an awesome season for the niners

    I'm hoping he has enough all around game to replace Badsen at the three. We all know how hard it is to replace old starters in the lineup though (just ask Withers, who had to wait until Butter was booed at Halton before he started and got the majority of the minutes.)

    Seems like the new guys are the mainstays in the dunk contest at MM.

    hey man Basden has always been one of my favorite players. if only his scoring ability was as good as his defense. i know basden isnt extremely talented, but you gotta love how hard that guy works out on the court

    It sound like Pigford has jumping ability like Galen Young. If he is half the player Galen was, then we are in good shape.

    He's cool with me his freshman year, 15 a game for a defensive spark off of the bench. I won't feel good if he's playing 25+ at the three agains this year.

    thats true. he has always seemed to me like he's too good to be comming off the bench, but not good enough to be a starter.

    6.9 rebounds
    2.6 assists

    Yes, Pigford can throw down. Sounds like everyone on the team has already conceded Friday's dunk contest to him. haha

    awesome. he also has a very sweet midrange jumper from what ive heard and read...i wouldnt be surprised to see him starting at the three before too long
