They always fuck the new teams. Maybe we can trade up to three.

Yep, all of a sudden trading up doesn't sound that bad.

Between this and the lockout, this franchise is running on fumes.

Could be a blessing in disguise. It sets up to take the most athletic player in the draft in HS SG Gerald Green. Then get a guy like Hakim Warrick with the 13 spot. Still have PG issues in that scenario but Rome wasn't built in a day.

who are the top 5 picks?
Bogut, Williams, Paul , and a high schooler in no particular I bet?
what would that leave us if we didnt trade up? Felton, dude from Illinois, other HS player? Im sure Bernie will be wheelin and dealin on draft night.13th pick could be trade bait for a player already on a roster.

Yeah Gerald Green is who came to mind to me as well. If he can score the ball...then he'll help us. SG was a tremendous sore spot all year, although Bogans finished the season strong. We need some defense at that spot though. I think we got to keep both these picks and not trade up just to trade up.

I would love Hakim Warrick at 13, but that's just me.

Him and Okafor would be a tough front line, long and athletic, with Primoz bringing out the opposing big. He could really open up the lane for Okafor and all three can rebound.

After the disappointment wears off, I have confidence we'll make the best of the situation. They have made good basketball decisions thus far.
