Pick a winner a week contest

I'm sure everyone's played, or atleast heard of it. Let's have a big contest. Everyone can play.

The rules are simple.

Pick the winner of one game each week. You decide which game you want to pick.

You can't pick the same team twice. Meaning, once you pick the Steelers to win, you can't pick them again for the rest of the season. Each week you have to pick a different team to win.

You miss, your out. Your forget to pick, your out.

Last one remaining wins.

Tie splits the "prize" at the end of the season. It does not carry into the play-offs.

Since this is pretty much a private board, I say we do cash. Any thoughts? I can set something up in Yahoo Pickem's, or just have a new thread each week for the remainding players.

i'm in. we call it king of the hill. actually, i'll see if i can get us in on one that a buddy of mine at the boston globe runs. we're not sure how it's going to work this year because we're going to have over 100 entrants.

it's hard as HELL, by the way.

I was thinking like 10 bucks. And I would set something up in Yahoo. That way we don't have to worry about edited posts, and nobody will know who each other picked until after the set deadline.

We can also (and/or) have a pool where you pick every game every week and at the end of the season the most picks wins.
