could be a first rounder in the upcoming nfl draft. some here voiced there doubts in the alabama boy for most of the year........do any care to respond now! Marino type/style, leadership, experience and shear feel for the game is possibly a first round pick in the nfl........pretty accurate statement now by others.

no names will be called guys.........proof is always a requirement.

    Great job Phillip Rivers!

Hey...don't get me wrong...I like Rivers...but proof? What proof? He hasn't played a down of pro ball. Who cares what the "experts" are saying. They said the same thing about Ryan Leaf and Heath Shuler.

He has to prove himself on the professonal level.

proof was demostrated on the field today that he is worthy of being a first rounder........

i heard the "experts" but as i stated, it was to the ones who laughed at the notion of him being that high of a pick earlier this season. Proof, indeed, will come many nfl seasons down the road perhaps, but i see a bright future for Mr Rivers.

You tell'em CF. I would bet he makes a good NFLer. I hope we wind up with him much to the disparage of many here.
