I saw him waving his arms to the crowd, I just assumed there were some State fans back there. but Obscene gestures??? Sure didn't see that and apparently you were the only one. Also maybe Amato would have kicked the FG if he had any confidence in Kiker, who if you remember missed an freaking extra point that turned out to be huge. Yea 9,000,000 on the line and you bring in your fragile kicker to attempt the FG, or the freshman kicker who hit the extra point to send it into the second OT. If Amato trys the FG and they miss( a very likely scenero) then hes crucified for taking the ball out of Rivers hands. 4th and 1 they would have said. If you can't make that blah blah blah..... He was in a no win situation. I still like the call and feel like it was his only choice. I've seen State probably more than you and its no fun holding your breath on every extra point. I honest to goodness could have envisioned a Temple Va tech ending for this one. Hopefully the kicking game improves greatly, so this doesn't happen again.

Dood. Please stop comparing Rivers to Dan Marino until he actually does something in the pros.

OK, maybe flip flopping was a poor choice of words. You're being too negative about your own qb and another good ACC qb. Who in the ACC is better than Rivers or Rix? They may have some bad personal qualities (who doesn't), but they're good players.

I still say FSU will still stay at number 1 or 2 in the ACC even after the realignment and Miami and VT come in. Regardless of who replaces Bowden.

I don't give a shit if you were comparing shoe size, hair color, or the fact that they both give isotoner golves to their linemen for Christmas. He ain't no Dan Marino.

Yep, all the qualities except quick release, arm strength, ability to make the right reads.

Other than that - meaning they are both white males - everything else is in place. :D

I like Rivers, but comparing him to Marino - especially at this juncture, is just plain silly.
