Good draft. Couple of notes. I think the CB in the 2nd might be a little bit of a reach. I watched him play a couple of times, good player. Not sure if he will go in the 2nd though. Also, the LB from Arkansas is shooting up everyone's draft board. 6'5", 230, ILB, will probably go in the 2nd. And finally, the C from Michigan was the foundation of one of the best O-lines in college football. Not sure he will last until the 5th. He is probably tied with one or two other centers as the 2nd best C in the draft after Schmitz. Arkansas, Ohio State, Georgia, and Oregon all had NFL quality centers (the Georgia center will be playing Monday night for the college championship, assuming he doesn't sit out).

The Seachikins also need a C in a bad way. No one currently on the roster for 2023.

This year, the PFF mock is not realistic, IMO. It gives you option to turn up the randomness, which is closer to reality, but the way they have these guys ranked is poor. Henry To'oTo'o (LB - Alabama) is NOT the 153rd ranked player in this draft. There is no way Will Anderson drops to 15.

This website has the 2023 draft players ranked more realistically; https://www.profootballnetwork.com/mockdraft/

I agree, PFF places too much importance on their grades and not enough on traits or team needs. They also get way too random sometimes. Profootballnetwork is more realistic to me, although I think Mayer goes in the first.

I would NOT draft a QB in the first round of this draft.

I do like Kraft (TE) from SDSU and Campbell (MLB) from Iowa ... those two additions would be high grade.

I'd love to come out of this draft in no particular order
    • DB depth
    • LB depth
    • Edge rusher

Dig-It is going to murder you for drafting Levis with your first pick, lol

I hope the Seachikins draft Campbell as well. Our starting MLB just popped his ACL. But if we draft Noah Sewell, then we may not need Campbell.

On a side note, not keeping Bobby Wagner this year was a bad decision

If we get Levis, Mayer, and Hyatt with our first three picks, no one should complain. And he'll have to find me first anyway.
