Who would you promote to OC if Henning is demoted/fired?

Fox said in his postgame interview that after reviewing the tape, he might need to make personnel changes. Obviously changes in the depth chart could be included, but I got the impression he might be thinking about staff changes, too.

Considering most of us are calling for Henning's head to one degree or another, who would you promote from our current staff to do the offensive playcalling and why? Also, what would you do with Dan Henning?

I'd promote Jim Skipper and demote Henning to QB coach.

Boudreau has his hands full with the OL, and some serious butt whoopin is needed there.

I'd better not see Williamson as OC EVER AGAIN!!

As for the rest, I'm not too sure, but right now Skipper looks like the best candidate we've got on hand to replace Henning.

I don't like any of those guys better than Henning. That isn't saying much, but it's still my thoughts.

I think the change might be qb, not OC. The offense needs a spark, for sure. And it also needs some talent.

If we can manage to actually win in Atlanta, (ha!) it'll be neat to see what difference, if any, Foster makes against the Bucs #1 defense.

Also, if a change is made, and the Offense sucks it against the Bucs, what good is that gonna do? And I'll guarantee you that WHOEVER runs the offense, they will suck against the Bucs.

don't see a change a QB. options are not good. peete is still doing okay. weinke didn't do anything that suggested he would add a spark -- but he didn't turn the ball over either, which was surprising. would love to see Fasani, but don't think it will happen anytime soon.

wr's are a disaster. but what do ya do? cut bright and add black? now that's a big upgrade. actually if black could just catch a ball it would be an upgrade. does anyone remember any team having this meaning receivers that can't catch the ball. my middle school team could catch the ball better. i think someone might start calling them something beside wr's . . . like wide droppers.

what the hell happened to the OL yesterday? that hadn't been getting any penalties and then yesterday they were getting them left and right. Tuten could go back to the bench. but even some of the others ... it was starting to look like last year. the motion penalties at the end of the first half and game were a disaster. OL coach in trouble?

Weinke got 10 first downs compared to Peete's 4.

I thought he added a spark. I could be wrong, and don't really care either way. I just want someone to score more than 20 points.

Yeah, and he'd had 12 if Smith could catch. Then again, if Smith could catch, Peete would have another TD.

Weinke showed a bit more zip and able to look off recievers more, but Peete's probably still more accurate. Weinke did well, but he runs hot and cold still.

Don't think it matters who the QB is, frankly. It's the other things that are killing us.

actually, 20 points woulda been enough and, although it'd be fun to watch a high scoring offense, it would be more fun just to win some games and go to the playoffs. it would have been fun just to beat the cowgirls even if we weren't pretty in doing it on offense. losing to the cowgirls is just not acceptable ever.

weinke was efficient enough but like preseason he has a tendancy to move the chains with short passes but not get the ball into the endzone. still, i saw little signs of him being able to throw to his left ... he did look before throwing to his left, which was an improvement, so maybe there's hope. he did not get support yesterday. penalties and dropped balls killed the offense. still, i would like to see Fasani at some point and hope he is developing.

grant lost the game ... not henning, peete or weinke. smith and penalties didn't help win it, but grant lost it.
