And to think that you'd gone this long without saying something stupid again. Try to watch what you say, as there's no need for you to get humiliated to the point that you have to leave again. I say that because this post was unimaginably stupid. Last season Peppers was still chasing down halfbacks thirty yards downfield. His problem wasn't a lack of effort any more than that was Dwight Freeney's problem in 2006 or 2007.

Peppers is leaving because of Fox, and honestly, of the two I would rather have Peppers.

    Majordobie:
If they don't re-sign Gross, I imagine they will put the franchise tag on him since they probably want to keep him. I don't know if they have enough cap space to do so (or if you can use both tags in the same season), but maybe they could transition tag Gross (giving you right to match any offer he receives) and put a non-exclusive franchise tag on Peppers.

you don't have to tag anyone, if I'm understanding you right.

I wish the Panther's philosophy was like the Steeler's. When a player gets too big for the market or the salary cap, get what you can and reload.

Franchising Peppers and trading him could net us 2 great players if the Panther's are capible of reloading properly. No player on an NFL football is untouchable. Every player can be replaced.

"He loves the state of North Carolina. His family is there. The easier situation for him would be to stay in Carolina," his agent, Carl Carey, said Saturday. "But the decision that he faced was, do I stay in Carolina and perhaps never reach my full potential? Or do I open myself to the possibilities to finish my career elsewhere? He chose the latter." Then we should get a fucking D cordinator that can come up with some fucking schemes that fit him. Move him around shit like that. not plug him in one spot and hope for the best.

JR really needs to think this though. Do you keep the face of the franchise? Or let him walk and have possibility of fans turning their back on this team by keeping a Coordinator that went from 2nd overall D to 18th and got handled by the cards with the amount of talent that is on the Defensive side of the ball.

I guess you didn't watch the Cards Game? I saw him on one side all game. You need to get him in space and catch the team by surprise. Our D is predictable teams just have to block 4 guys & occasionally we will throw a safety or corner in there. With Davis and beason and harris and peppers we should be lighting fools up.

Thanks. I was wondering what would happen if neither Peppers or Gross received the tag for some strange reason, even though I don't believe that will be the case.

As you, I agree that a defense without Peppers could be detrimental to the team, and the Panthers know that. My belief is that Peppers will receive the tag and Gross will be going bye-bye unless there is some restructuring of other contracts.

Thank you Magnus. I realize they don't have to tag anyone, but I was wondering if we were in danger of losing another vital player should Peppers or Gross not receive the tag.

Maybe not, but maybe you say fuck this when the coach won't bench him in that game, or the next one, or the forseeable future.

I wasn't sure where you were going with that. No, there's no one else of that level that's on the team that's a free agent. If you want to go down that far, you could say that Jason Kyle or Geoff Hangartner are the next guys down.
