Peppers workout today

    Peppers can play football. Whether he runs a 4.5 or 4.7 today doesn't change that. It is amazing how a 2 tenths of a second can completely change things for some people. I rather him have a descent wo anyway. If he came out and ran 4.3 - some team might have given up the farm for him. We still need Pep.

    It's good. Not as fast as the tweener ends like Kearse, who run 4.5, but still very good for a base end.

    9:41 PT: The Charlotte Observer reports DE Julius Peppers, of North Carolina, ran two 40-yard dashes with times ranging from 4.69 to 4.77 during the school's pro day on Tuesday. Peppers is regarded as a top prospect in this year's NFL Draft. The workout had a large contingent of Carolina Panthers officials, who have the 2nd pick in this year's draft, in attendance.

    I was looking for 4.6. Sounds like he had a bad day, he plays faster than that.

    Any info on some of his other numbers besides the 40? I'd like to see how much he can bench, and how many times he benches a certain mark.
