If I didn't give up the booze for the new year thinking about missing out on Portis for yet another apparent wasted early pick to yet another freak preseason injury would serve as one more bad reason to have "just one more".

WW got in thanks to his tackles, and not anything more, but hell, anybody who gets that many tackles is doing something right, even if none of it's coverage. He's earned the weakside spot I guess.

Anyone else notice that Quentin Jammer was absent from that lineup?

Jammer did not start. I do think that, had he been in camp on time, he'd have been on the list as well and will have a good year next year. McKinnie got on that list by default.
