    I'm not reading all the previous pages, but I wanted to say that the talking head who suggested that Peppers agent floated this preposterous trade, to get the two sides talking and put pressure on the situation, makes perfect fucking sense.

    I think he's stuck here, barring some real movement or not getting the contract he wants, and he knows it. Agent is trying to conjure something for him since prospects are slim for his ideal situation.

    I believe for Pep to get moved, he is going to have to forget his "preferred list of teams" and go where he can. Someone out there is going to offer a fair deal ( like 1/3, 2/2, etc), and we aren't going to move him for substancially less just because it's one of his Fab 4 teams.
    It's either that, or enjoy another year of Charlotte, you lazy bastard.

    going with more than four teams ups both his compensation and ours. That's why the "hostage" thing has always been weird, because how many hostages are the ones making the demands?
