  5. He signed just before 3pm....I heard it on 610. Listen to Packman's show today, they are trying to get the Panthers GM on for the details. Foster pretty much has to sign now, all the rookie cap is used up, he has to take what is left.

Pack said that Hurney is going to be on during the 5 o'clock hour.

I'm thrilled. Guess this means that Foster and Fasani get to split what's left.

Does anyone else think that Fasani's trying to get an incentive laden deal like the one that Weinke got last year?

well, if he is, then he can pound salt. Weinke was put in a special position as a high fourth round pick - he had the ability to negotiate as a potential starter - Fasani has no real push to do so and shouldn't be looking for anything special.

thanks for the tip on FNZ. Now I don't have to listen before 5.

But on the other hand look at the position he is in....he's the only other QB on the roster with a chance be there for more than a year or two. Peete won't be around that long. And Weinke is far from a proven NFL QB. So if Fasani plays well......who knows? Maybe he (and his agent) are just trying to cover their bases. There has to be a reason that he hasn't signed yet.

You must live closer than a Driver and a pitching wedge from the antenna. I live 15 minutes outside Charlotte and I get static
