    sounds almost as if the idea to appeal was done just so he could play the first 12 games.

    now he has a chance of being 'forgotten' about when it comes to awards/Pro Bowl and such.

    If I were him I'd want to sit out the rest of the Panthers' games too.

    I think holding out till now was to get Pro Bowl and ROTY and all that. Not that he necessarily will, but that 12th sack and the game he played this week certainly does aid him.

    I think the whole point was for the Panthers to not go without both Buckner and Peppers for those games.

    Peppers is awesome. I have no doubt he will be very dominate next year.
