Really? Just how often has he mentioned it? I've probably read less than a third of Gantt's articles

I am not convinced that it hurts our team that bad to let Peppers walk anyway. If they use some of that money they save to shore up the weaker areas of the team we should be alright. The defense is going to be OK even without Peppers. We should get some pass rush from Johnson and Brown and our linebackers look very solid. The secondary is not bad either. We might even be decent at DT if we can get the guys we have healthy.

If Moore keeps playing the way he played at the end of the season, especially if they get him another weapon to work with in the passing game, then we should be good next year.

4-5 times a year, it's a good space filler, he hardly even changes the words other than to come up with a new way to cover up the cursing.

Gantt spent all of last offseason saying peppers wouldn't be back.

If Gantt is right... not saying he is... but if he is, as a Panthers fan I take offense. I'm sorry. I know this is a greedy but I'm pissed if Richardson is willing to sacrifice this team for a CBA. That's the kind of stuff that keeps teams from ever winning championships. Its nice to be the good guy, but the good guy never gets to bang the prom queen in the backseat, while the dance is going on.

I do not think that giving Peppers a huge contract or paying him $20 million next season is a wise decision anyway so if JR is letting Peppers walk for the sake of a new CBA then he is probably still doing what is best for the team too.

It depends on the primary reasoning. I'm saying if THAT'S the reason its being done I have aproblem with it. Next time it may not be Peppers it may be another guy, say Jon Beason for example, who's willing to return, but isn't granted the deal he deserves only to prove a CBA point.
