Can we afford to pay Peppers 70 to 90 million or would the money be better used on new players?

I guess a better question is, "is he worth that kind of money?". He has not shown it so far this year.

It's hard for Pep to get sacks when he's playing in the backfield. Has anyone else noticed this? The only reason I see that is that the Panthers don't have faith in their secondary

its hard when hes gassed and sucking wind every play. Chris MHERys said he had his pulse taken on the sidelines last Sunday along with oxygen. dude is not physically right. Panthers would be better off saying hes "sick" than to keep playing him and and acting like everything is ok.

It hasnt shown up in the stats, or in the pressure. If something isnt right with him, they need to get him off the field, because it doesnt appear he is helping himself or the team right now.

They are talking on Rosinski about how "sick" he looks in general even around the locker room. Why on earth are they putting him on the field if he has medical issues like this?

I would be interested to know what his being "sick" means. Is he injured? Does he have Bird Flu? Mad Cow?
