I agree with most of that lde. I personally don’t think he’s nearly as fast as most here think he is. World class agility? Yes, especially for a man his size . . . World class speed? No, I think the 4.7 is about right and maybe he can burst to 4.6 on occasion. Freeney would easily outrun Peppers in a foot race. One very encouraging thing is that I have noticed more consistent “hustle” out of him in the past several games. He used to give up after that first move didn’t get him anywhere to paraphrase that quote from a recent article. Now he’s apparently got his head in the game and he’s able to cycle through options quicker and act on them. You don’t catch him waiting for the whistle that often anymore. I think his head is finally catching up to his body and that is a frightening concept.
What I absolutely hate is how the media is starting to pimp him as the best defensive player in the league now. IMO that is going to do us much more harm than good (i.e. endorsement distractions, highest paid player in the league demands, etc)

Agree, agree, and agree. He is making many more great plays, but has a ways to go on many others. I want him just as motivated next offseason to improve.

I'm not, but I can usually read his predictability.

Astonish strangers - amaze your friends - watch as they marvel that you knew that we'd run off RG when we were overbalanced strong and sent the wing in motion backside.
