Before anybody gets carried away, and says something like Peppers once outran M. Vick, he not really THAT fast.

    His pre-draft workout times were 4.69 and 4.71. http://images.nfl.com/partners/aol/index.html?http://ww2.nfl.com/draft/2002/DL_ratings.html

Comparing DE Kearse ran 4.43 at the combine. http://www.philadelphiaeagles.com/uploads/files/KMAGINKOIKFE/KEARSE.PDF

and DE Freeney went 4.38. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/nfl/2002draft/des/dwightfreeney.htm

I would rather have an end with on the field speed than a 40 yard wonder. Not saying that Kearse doesn't have it.

His play against Denver (the one before the interception) thats the kind of speed I love to see out of Peppers.

speed & quickness can be two different things...Peppers is both

Minter on the radio today said Peppers is a 4.5, and followed with Steve Smith is a 4.3 getting out of bed...

    Pep's inside move is nasty.
