deservingly so. So now we have a defensive player of the month across from a more recent rookie of the month.

I think Peppers has a shot at Strahan's record. How cool would it be for a rookie to hold the sack record. The NFL would never be the same.

If the Panthers can ever get an early 14 point lead, he could really pin his ears back and tee off.

Nah, not this year. He has 9 in half a season, which is damn good, but he'd have to step his pace up and he's already at over 1 per game, which is freaking outstanding. Eventually they'll just keep putting pressure on him and letting Rucker get one on one, so I don't think we have the ability to do what the Giants could do on the other side with Holmes to let Strahan run free.

Now if somehow he could keep his 2 sack/ game streak of the last three games up, well, obviously, he's got the record. But that's awful hard to do with our second half schedule and lack of offensive production.

I agree with Mags. Now if the second half of our season looked like the first half schedule-wise, maybe he'd have a shot. But not this year. Oh well, something to shoot for in the future.

the cat is amazing. i just love the way he always looks like he grinning from ear to ear. that has to be annoying if you're the OL assigned to block him. but probably only half as annoying as the QB asking ya in the huddle why ya don't try blocking him just once.
