As a PSU/Paterno fan, a coach, and a father...I am appualed by the actions of Sandusky and the LACK of action by everyone named in the GJ report. The framed Joe Paterno Wheaties box that has been proudly hung in my basement is now stowed away, and all my PSU gear will soon be boxed up.

Furthermore, as coaches and educators, those involved (McQuery, Paterno, Schulz, Curly...ect) are bound by the same or similar "Mandatory Reporter Training" rules/laws that all educators/coaches are required to adhere to. Failure to report such things to the proper authorities causes teachers and coaches to lose their jobs and teaching credentials...there is no question that ALL (even Paterno) should lose their jobs and ALL are at least morally guilty, if not criminally negligent.

Just reading that GJ report made me feel sick and did nothing to change my belief that ALL PEDOPHILES MUST DIE!!!:teeth:

Separate discussion, but while I'm not quite on board with executions, I do think it's obvious that it's a mental illness that can never be cured and makes someone a danger for life.

It doesn't matter. Children are molested and beaten every day. It's part of the natural balance of life. They should just fire him for being a senile old clown.

Sandusky should just off himself. Paterno screwed up royally when he didn't do shit when the student coach came to him saying Sandusky was raping the boy in the shower. Jo pa's legacy is shit

mothers don't even believe their own kids over their husbands in these cases. I know someone it's happened to. It scars you for sure. You just have to wonder what Joe Pa was allowed to know. And how much was just brushed off as B.S.

Paterno to Retire at Season's End.

    Just released by AP/ESPN.

Seems successful coaches can't leave on their own anymore. Butch Davis, Bobby Bowden, Jim Tressel, and now Joe Paterno.

I just hope Paterno doesn't have a sudden death like Bear Bryant did after his last game at Alabama.
