One thing is for certain, I am not as high on King anymore!

I am leary about Stewart, too. He's so inconsistent. He either sucks or lights it up?

Plummer will require too much money up front.

King is the most economical, but I am startign to think he would add anything more than what we have...other than the fact that he's nearly half Peete's age?

Why the hell does everyone say that Cincy is going to use their number one pick on a QB? Look at Kitna's stats for 2002:

G GS ATT PC C% YDS YPA LNG TD INT
    13 11 438 275 62.8 2937 6.7 72t 16 14

    RATING
    81.2

A freaking 81.2. He looked darn good against New Orleans and beat them. He looked good against us WHEN he had TIME to throw:D . He IS a good QB. If Cincy wastes yet another 1st pick on a QB they are a bunch of fools. They need an O line and a better defense far more than another QB. But, hey it's Cincy and we all know how smart they are, lol:D

Hopefully, they will be smart and choose another player so we can get a franchise QB, but I am not holding my breath:p

Yeah, they would all fall nicely in between me at the top and Damaeiouandsometimesyne in the "Best to worst" list.

I could probably get behind that, as long as we still had Peete as our insurance policy. But one thing is for certain: Stewart has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he cannot carry a team for long. He always crumbles.

I agree. I do NOT want Krydell here. Anybody but him.

I want the best possible guy in here at QB next year. If that's Crydell then sign him and get him in here. IMO, we don't have to worry about him crumbling after a few seasons if we draft a rookie QB this year. By that time the Rook will be ready to go and we can move Crydell to #2 QB. He's a decent starter but a great backup.

  8. there's going to be a lot of teams trying to move up to get houston and detroit's picks to get one of the top QBs. Leftwich could be the 1st player taken.

Chicago, Dallas and Arizona have obvious QB needs. If Carolina wants one of the top QBs, they'll have to trade up to get him.

Other teams have aging starters like Oakland, whose going to replace Greise? Obviously Detroit and Houston won't be taking a QB...teams will want to move into those spots to get them isntead of letting the player slip to number 4. let the bidding begin.

I am comfortable with the idea of getting a FA and waiting til next year for our future gunslinger. Should be some pretty good ones next year too?
