I'm glad Zimmer is okay but he shouldn't have moved his old ass off the bench and tried to hit Pedro. I have a feeling this won't be the last incident of the series.

Tempers flare after Martinez hits Garcia
    By JIMMY GOLEN
    Associated Press
BOSTON (AP) – Pedro Martinez threw 72-year-old Yankees bench coach Don Zimmer to the ground during a bench-clearing melee that interrupted Game 3 of the AL championship series Saturday.
The former Red Sox manager was among the Yankees yelling at Martinez from the bench after he threw behind Karim Garcia’s head and hit him in the back in the top of the fourth.
Roger Clemens threw up and in to Manny Ramirez in the bottom half, and the Boston slugger shouted at the Rocket while raising his bat. Both benches cleared, and Zimmer headed for Martinez and lunged at him. Martinez sidestepped him, grabbed him by the head with both hands and tossed him to the ground.
The game was delayed for 10 minutes, but nobody was ejected. Beer stands at Fenway Park were shut down for the remainder of the game.

Pedro is a gutless fuck for doing this. He had no business throwing behing Karim Garcia's head to start it off. I hope that Boston loses every game left in this series. Fucking Pedro is too good of a pitcher to do this.

Zimmer had no business rushing Pedro, but still Pedro lost alot of my respect. He intentionally threw at Garcia. Punkass thing

That Martinez reaction to what (to me) looked like a slightly up and in fastball is what gets me.

If anyone is a gutless fuck it is Karim Garcia and Jeff Nelson. Both of those Yankee bitches attacking a groundskeeper because he was cheering for his team is just crazy.

And Zimmer still should have stayed in the dugout. He's the one who put Pedro in a position to have to defend himself.

As far as the game, FUCK. Pedro settled down to late, The Sox missed opportunities to score, most of the guys in the lineup have never been this far into the playoffs and its showing but Nomar needs to wake the fuck up. And to make things even worse John Burkett is pitching tommorow.

what happened today is exactly why the designated hitter rule is the worst rule in baseball.

Pedro wouldn't be pointing and telling players he will be throwing at their heads if he had to step into the batters box.

and yes Manny Ramirez did way over react to a high inside fastball - he ducked his head and never even saw where the pitch ended up
