    I never understood all the praise Pearl Jam gets/got. They always struck me as a very average garage band that grew up on Led Zeppelin. OK, but not particularly interesting or groundbreaking in any way.

    why? I get the impression you don't like them.

    I just got into them this year, but it seems like I've read alot about how all they were the harder edged innovators of what became the more commercial grunge sound.

    Nice dude. Will do. I really haven't listened to them in years


    I always on the fence about wood, I mean we never really got to see how he would have panned out. However, I think eddie vedder has more than proved himself as their frontman.
