Payton to Indiana Pacers

    if the pacers had payton they would be absolutely loaded. they are already close to unstoppable, with payton running the show they would be killer

    i dont know what indy would trade for payton- possibly artest/miller (although both got locked into longterm contracts) or tinsley and bender (and bender is longterm). anyway, payton would be a damn good addition to the pacer team, which is already uptempo and offensive minded- their one defect is defense, and payton brings that to the team. chemistry is another thing though- how will payton react to isaiah??

    How about Reggie Miller and a prospect or draft choice? Miller and Payton makes about the same income.

    Exactly, AJ. They do make almost the same $.

    Reggie and a #1 to Seattle for "The Glove".

    I think Indy would probably enjoy throwing in Tinsley, if they could.

    The Pacers do have a logjam of similar players - Artest, Harrington, Bender, Croshere...

    They are loaded. If they had a big body in the middle (Miller is big, but not Shaq big).

    Payton for Miller only?...that's robbery by the Pacers. The Sonics would ask for one of those jammed log wing players but I don't see the pacers letting go of Artest (defense too valuable) or Harrington (best of young players between him and Bender).
