Wouldn't be surprised if Manny and David Ortiz were on them (especially Ortiz). He's around 35 now, and all of a sudden he has just been ripping up the entire league for the past 3 or 4 years, and he didn't do crap in what most baseball players consider their prime. Besides, his head is huge and he is gigantic. Everyone is already talking hall of fame about him and he doesn't even have 200 home runs. No one goes from decent to being consistently in the league MVP hunt after they are 30 unless something is up. From what I hear it's mainly Latin and Carribean players taking it for the most part Sorry to be so cynical. Grimsley also said that everyone on the Indians were doing steroids back in the 90's when they were winning all those Central division titles. Kinda scary to think that 4 of the 9 top Home Run hitters of All Time were all steroid users and all broke into the top 10 within about 5 years of each other.

Yer either joking or you're an idiot. Ortiz is only 30 and he's been hitting his entire career. He hit 18 homers in 89 games as a platoon player for Minn in 2001 and 20 the following year, also while sharing time. Of course his numbers took off when he came to Boston and became a fulltime player. The guy could always hit, the Twins just didn't play him/keep him because they saw him as a defensive liability. He's in his prime now.

    That's a great theory, except that he's only 30.

He also had a hole in his swing where he could not hit pitches low and in. They made a mechanical adjustment in Boston and the rest is history.
