Panther radio speculated that should Parcells go to Dallas Dan Henning would be high on Parcells list as O- Coordinator. Go Tuna Go!

Actually, if they go Parcells, from his ESPN comments, I wouldn't be suprised to see Emmit come back for one more year. He's still the best they got, unless they draft a guy.

That was basically what Parcells said. If you are the O-corrdinator, and he's still playing at a high level, and no one else is, how is this addition by subtraction?

    Tuna helper helps Emmitt stay.

It would be a clash of egos at least on the level of Jones/Johnson. The difference is Parcells brings a little more clout I think, has a shorter temper, and is more intimidating. All that doesn't necessarily mean it would work, though.

Agreed, and that's almost certainly what would happen. Probably before Draft day, anyway. Parcells makes command decisions and apologizes to no one. Helps Jerry, helps the team.

I can definitely see that happening. Parcells is getting older. I honestly don't know if the game has passed him by, but we'd find out in a hurry. Of course, if he'd seriously consider Henning as his top OC choice, that's an indicator right there.

I was skeptical at first, but I saw a rumor on Yahoo.com that 'an unnamed source' said Parcells and Jones have agreed to a deal in principle worth about $3.5M per year. We'll see...

Overally, I do think it would be a good move for the 'Boys, even for a short while. It would get them going in the right direction again.

Parcells wouldn't even have to put together a full staff out there. That freak special teams coach, the one who runs around and yells and does no real use to anyone, would stay. Henning comes in, becomes his own QBs coach, and they keep the line coach, who's done OK. leaves a backs coach, receivers coach, and a defense, of which Parcells can call on a number of names.

If they've agreed, and Parcells has even carefully worded his entrance to Dallas, I'm really surprised that this isn't tampering. It's like he's using ESPN and supposedly telling the full truth to them as a way of getting past the tampering.

  6. no way in hell he coaches a team that jerry jones owns....he wants full control and that will never happen with JJ..
