:saywhat: You've got to be kidding. Obviously his QB tutoring skills were lost on Weinke and Fasani, and as far as 'decent production' goes, I guess that's a matter of opinion.

Decent point, Brain, but I would counter by saying that at least Weinke performed better under Williamson's WCO as a rookie -- a system that supposedly didn't showcase his 'strengths'. I don't think anyone would argue Weinke took a huge step backward last offseason. As for Fasani, he didn't play much in college, so it's hard to say how this year's experience affected him. But I gotta believe that even the rankest small school nobody could've done better than 0.0 passer rating, even against the Bucs' D.

I wonder if that arm ever got better.

  7. I wonder what offense he is going to run...sherm lewis had been grooming him on the WCO...he didn't call plays, his job was more film study and game plan in Detroit...was OC in more of a title role only. He was supposed to be very intense and held in high regard. figures, millen lets one of the few with a descent brain get away.

maybe Dallas will want to trade for McMahon now...

    Good hire by Dallas.

Well that ends the hope on my part that we'll get a fresh change at QB and a little bit more agressive offense. For ball control, we're really just terribly conservative. I don't know ball control teams that take a lot of shots downfield.
