True, but a missed TD and int didn’t help. I thought the defense very good until later, then Snow seemed to change course which cost us.

and as previously said, Slye leaves much to be desired at this level.

He had more than a couple of contributions to the loss.

He still got us in position to kick a field goal for the win. This is more on the defense for letting the Vikings march down the field so easily, and then Slye for missing that field goal.

Teddy is not a franchise QB, he's a bridge.

Carolina seems to get coaches who have no idea about adjusting, except to go away from what is successful. The anti adjustment. Undisciplined stupid penalties and general choking all around.

It's par for the course and about 60% fan discontent in games ending in any kind of positive manner.

Every 3rd or 4th season seems we move forward but then two steps back. Then the wheels fall off.

The Panthers are just a big tease when they aren't awful.

Like most college teams not in sc or ala lately.

I disagree, Coach. This team seems to play harder than Rivera's or Fox's later teams did. The defense still needs talent and the offense is led by a game manager without his best weapon and we're still in the thick of most games.

Be honest, before the game would you have expected us to be leading in the final minutes? Would you have thought that we would have a chance to win it with a field goal? If it wasn't for Chinn the game would have been over in the third quarter.

Although dropping eight into coverage late was kind of dumb against a QB who's great at picking apart defenses late.

I think given that the defense is very young that they want to go out and establish themselves. Whereas a veteran, that has been a starter for a number of years, loses that edginess. Not as much to prove anymore till they reach an age where they realize they have to prove they still "it". These rookies would not have even been used under Fox or Rivera.
The Vikings are not the Steelers so it's a lot easier seeing them win this game and not as much that one.
The D should have kept the pressure coming all the way to the end.

Playing harder is great. But they're not playing smarter. The def basically gave away three drives, two at the end which lost the game. The red zone offense sucks ass, sts suck ass and 3rd down def still sucks ass. At this point I'm hoping this staff drafts well next April.

There's no excuse for the penalties. None. You can sugar coat it and give the new staff honeymoon kudos, but fuck.

This staff is not adjusting impressively which was my first point. They just aren't. We've seen this movie over and over.

The fucking offense hasn't scored in the 3rd much at all this whole season. That's pitiful.

Teddy and sly are not clutch. They've proved it quite a few times this year.

The Panthers are where they deserve to be. The bottom third of the league.

If not for 28, we'd be looking at a top 4 or 5 pick. And yet we go away from him when we shouldn't. Typical.

21 and 93 are the only real good players on d. I like those two. 95 may turn out ok. Even 54 is not good at mlb. 33 has one good play out of 10 snaps.

We have no tes worth a shit either.

If teddy was clutch he'd have hit 12 in the ez easy like a good qb would have.

Again, the red zone offense is offensive. Horrible. Pathetic.

Making good plays every now and then to hang in there for moral victories or some such shit is for losers.

Like the wifey says at the end of so many panthers games, "they played good some and almost won!"

    That's fucking dumb shit.
