    Finally a win!

Not sparkling by any means but it's a win. Young looked good again from the admittedly little I saw after switching to RedZone, despite our best efforts to get him killed.

Panthers have a lot of issues, in most important order for me.

    1. Oline, particularly, LT. Icky is crap, needs to kick inside. Brady Christensen could do as well or better on the outside. Unless the oline can come together, then we cannot even tell what we have at any other position. Plays cannot develop for downfield. Running attack was so bad today only to be overshadowed by lack of protection.
    2. Basic tackling. I know we got some guys hurt, but arm tackling is not where it is at in the NFL. The vaunted "next head coach" we have running the defense needs some basics instilled in these guys.
    3. DLine. I would move Brian Burns in a NY minute if we can sucker someone into 2 1st rounders. Cannot defend against the run and only occasionally gets a sack. Brown seems to be the best we have, but not hard to shine with the peers on the DLine.

Bryce looked great passing the ball, and Chark fucked him by dropping the scramble drill throw, but he has to stop taking so many sacks. He's making the offensive line look worse than it actually is.

Clutch final drive, though, and he did it against a good defense.

The Panthers (1-6) snapped a 56-game losing streak in games they trailed at any point in the fourth quarter, the longest in NFL since at least 1991. Carolina’s last fourth-quarter comeback win was Oct. 21, 2018, against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jesus Christ. That's a wild stat.

Seems like they're cutting their losses with Miles Sanders. I bet he goes on IR soon.

Icky was being hidden by McAdoo's run heavy approach. I think you're probably right about him being an NFL guard, with Christiansen being better suited at LT.

I thought the defense was very good for most of this game. This scheme will always be vulnerable to the run but you can live with that if the back 7 is putting a cap on explosive plays.

Burns is a excellent player who happens to be a bad fit. I wouldn't trade him, but I get why the Panthers would consider it. I just hope they don't go full Tepper and get an overrated WR out of it.

I was a little disturbed at the Drum Line. Purrcussion looks like it's almost all CIS white men, and I didn't see a single trans. Unless there were some FTMs in there that were passing really well, in which case I apologize.
